On a scale of 1 (low) to 10 (high) how great of an impact do you think this event had on the Civil Rights Movement? (Explain your reasoning in 4-5 sentences) (8 pts) I give this event a 10 because it really did have a great impact during The Civil Rights because it involved African Americans and because back then, they were discriminated because of the color of their skin and when this act was passed, it was a surprise for the people that hated blacks and thought that they were nothing and didnt deserve the same right as they did. Our president now who is Obama, is a great example because he is the first African America to EVER in history lead the nation and it is a big deal because this proves Africans that anything is possible nomatter their race or the color of their skin.
